Issues with plugins after latest update

    I updated wordpress to its latest version 5.4.2 but I have now a couple of issues with my plugins. Stylings to plugins I applied are gone and also a couple of plugins are not there anymore (at least not on the plugins page and I’m also not able to reinstall them as I constantly get the message the plugin folders already exist.
    But I don’t have it in the installed plugin list and also not on in the backend.
    Any ideas what went wrong and how to fix it?

    1. What version of wordpress were you using before?

    2. Hope you have a backup data of your previous website before updating

    3. Goto your cpanel >> File manager >> public_html >> wp-content >> plugins and check if those plugin you pointed are missing out are actually in those folder
