The comments aren’t pulled when you visit the admin page so I’ve no idea why it did that. Comments are pulled on a cron schedule so it should happen in the back ground.
Sometimes it shows 24 when it means zero (i.e. its currently running). Not sure why getting the next execution time from the WP cron controls shows that.
You should get some comment diagnostics for each comment run – you’ve included one showing that its found posts to check but not what its actually doing with them.
How long do you keep posts open for comments? Wordbooker will use that window by default but in reality FB posts don’t usually get comments on them after a couple of weeks at most.

Dunno – but that’s what happened Maybe just a *ridiculously* coincidental server spike…
>>How long do you keep posts open for comments?
I never close them.

I was testing a post that’d been pushed to FB about 3 hours earlier, and had been commented on (on FB) about 10 minutes earlier. So it’s definitely not an issue of oldness, if that’s what you’re getting at.

That was the end of the log. It just ran again a minute ago, here’s all the logs produced by the event:

That looks like its stuck in a loop – or those 42 posts are the same one which shouldn’t happen.
I’m off to work so will try to look at it tonight.

Actually its not a loop – its simply telling you that the post had a pile of comments to run against.
Can you turn the diagnostic level up to show everything?

Can I email it somewhere? It’s ginormous.
Note that I did have it set on show everythign except cache diagnostics anyway.

wordbooker @ tty.org.uk will work. The problem is that I can’t see why this is happening – messages are missing which implies things aren’t happening when they should. Trying to troubleshoot this sort of problem is one of the reasons I’m still seriously thinking of abandoning the plugin and walking away from it.

The odd thing is that that set of diagnostics looks OK… the in/out counts are zero (for some reason) but this:

Comment Processing (User Diag) 2013-05-02 10:15:44 Incoming comments disabled for WP post 24324
shows the comment was found on FB – Wordbooker found the post it belonged to in your blog but post 24324 seems to be closed to comment handling…. Did you check that the comment handling was set on the post itself? If you change comment handling the changes only take effect on new posts so if you turn it on then do something with an old post it wont pick up comments unless you explicitly set it on the old post.

Very odd… I have no clue what is going on without adding even more debugging.
Its failing on this:
if (!isset($wordbooker_post_options['wordbooker_comment_get'])) {
wordbooker_debugger("Incoming comments disabled for WP post ".$wp_post_row->wp_post_id,' ',-3,9);
continue ;
}
