Issues with auto import

My website was moved to a new server and the auto import stopped working – when I tried to update it I got the message “Error: The source for the import is invalid or could not be accessed”.

Having seen a previous post about this, I spoke to my web guy who said he should have sorted it and when I checked, the import was running on selected tables. However, when I try to add more links and click the bottom save button, I get the error code.

If I click the top save button, it says “The Auto Import configuration was saved successfully” but then the box where the URL would be has reverted to being blank and the auto update isn’t in place. Some have worked, some won’t.

Any ideas as to why? I’ve tried clearing the cache on the site and uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin.
