Do you know what changed with your project this morning? Any updates?

Do you see any issues under Tools > Site Health?

Have you tried using a different browser?

Im not sure what may effected it. To be honest i feel way over my head with setting this all up. Here is what i can see under tools-site health.
I have not tried a different browser i will try that.

Plugins extend your site’s functionality with things like contact forms, ecommerce and much more. That means they have deep access to your site, so it’s vital to keep them up to date.

Your site has 5 active plugins, and they are all up to date.

Your site has 1 inactive plugin. Inactive plugins are tempting targets for attackers. If you are not going to use a plugin, you should consider removing it.

    Manage your plugins

Themes add your site’s look and feel. It’s important to keep them up to date, to stay consistent with your brand and keep your site secure.

Your site has 1 installed theme, and it is up to date.

Your site does not have any default theme. Default themes are used by WordPress automatically if anything is wrong with your chosen theme.

Page cache enhances the speed and performance of your site by saving and serving static pages instead of calling for a page every time a user visits.

Page cache is detected by looking for an active page cache plugin as well as making three requests to the homepage and looking for one or more of the following HTTP client caching response headers:

i was able to upload in safari, and now chrome it appears to have fixed it self whew!!!

Nothing in the copied text explains the problem with the files to me. However, I need to clarify the issue further: According to your screenshot, files are being uploaded, but they have the wrong filenames? Or do you see a confirmation message, but the file doesn’t appear in the Media Library?

    So I would recommend:

    a) Deactivate all plugins and see if that improves the situation. If so, then one of the plugins was to blame. Also check to see if you have any “must-use” plugins.

    b) If it still doesn’t work without any plugins, switch the theme to a default theme like TwentyTwentyFive to rule out yours as the cause.
