    Hi there

    Last week my WordPress.org did the new update to 6.1.1, and a few hours later my then back-up plugin updates as well, but after that I could not access my site.
    Gave a critical error on site message. I only noticed it the next morning so my site was down for probably a few hours.
    I got assistance from my hosting platform and they deactivated the backup plugin.
    And I had access to my site again. I decided to changed my plugin to Updraftplus after that, but since that day my viewing rate has dropped by more than half and not getting back to where it was before my site was down and the new plugin.
    Any idea or suggestions?
    Feel I am in a bit over my head here.

    Hi,

    Please ask your host/server admin to check their PHP error log to know more about why your site goes down.

    It is most likely that the server gets exhausted from creating the backup as UpdraftPlus use server resources to create the backups.
