    Hi there,

I have just installed the “WooCommerce Additional Variation Images” plugin, so I can have gallery images for each variation product. I have just noticed that this causes a problem with some translation files on product pages which have Variable Products (but only on those pages).

My front end site is in German, admin side in English. When we add a Variable Product to the cart (and only on the product page with variable products), some language strings switch to English. For example the mini cart displays “subtotal” (English) instead of “zwischensumme” (German). Also we had a system notice appear in English when everything should be German, but cannot see which plugin this originated from:

has been removed from your basket because it has since been modified.

If I refresh the same page, then the English strings revert to German again. Can you please help me understand the issue here? It seems like a possible conflict between Loco translate and “WooCommerce Additional Variation Images”. The problem only came about after addign this plugin. On this site we have no caching plugin.

    Thank you in advance

Does this problem persist if you store your translation files in a normal system location and disable Loco Translate?

The normal system location would be under wp-content/languages/plugins

    Thanks for the reply Tim,

Well I disabled Loco translate and the problem still persists, so I guess that rules out Loco translate. I am thinking it must be some issue with the actual WooCommerce plugin.

Thanks again for the quick responce.
