I’m using WP 4.7.5, WooCommerce 3.0.7 and WooCommerce PDF Invoices 2.9.1.

I updated your plugin from 2.6.4 to 2.9.1 and created a custom template by copying the “minimal” folder from /woocommerce-pdf-invoices/includes/templates/invoice/simple to uploads/woocommerce-pdf-invoices/templates/invoice/simple. Here are some issues I’ve noticed:

    1. In the plugin’s Template tab > General options > Template dropdown, I can see duplicate entries for “minimal”. However the changes made to the custom template are correctly shown in the new pdf. Is it possible to fix the duplicate entries in the dropdown?
    2. If I rename the “minimal” folder, the above problem seems to go away. However the pdf now adds extra padding/margins on all four sides. Not sure what exactly is causing this.
    3. In the older versions of the plugin (such as 2.6.4), the custom templates were added in the uploads/bewpi-templates/invoice/simple folder. This folder still exists after the update to the new version and the template inside this folder is still displayed in the plugin’s Template tab > General options > Template dropdown. If I select this old template and save the settings, it switches back to the default “minimal” template. Can I manually delete the “uploads/bewpi-templates” folder or does it affect anything in the new version? The ideal solution would be that the plugin update should automatically transfer the old template to the new custom folder.
    4. Is there a way to add custom fonts in the custom template?

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks

You can delete bewpi-invoices folder for sure, but make sure all files are copied to the new uploads/woocommerce-pdf-invocies folder before you delete.
Just rename your custom template to something like minimal-mycustomtemplate. It’s best practice to keep the word “minimal” within the name of your custom template to avoid settings issues.
WooCommerce PDF Invoices Premium has the ability to use different fonts. Shoot me an email if you have any questions about the font.
