Issue with sidebar dropping in IE

    Hi all,

    I have tried searching for this all over, but all the posts I found are older (like years old) and it hasn’t done the trick.

    I am happy with my little test site but the sidebar is dropping or acting very weird in IE. Works fine in Chrome and Firefox ok. It got to the point that I reuploaded the whole template to go back to scratch, and still did not fix the issue.

    I’m at a loss here, so any tips would be greatly appreciated! First timer here. http://www.beyondhungerdome.com (newp theme)

    Hi again,

    I seem to have at least temporarily fixed the issue. I’ve been combing over all the code, but something I read about posts and widths made me try something.

    I limited the number of posts, and for whatever reason, the two posts removed allowed the bar to go back to it’s proper spot? I don’t understand enough about coding yet to fix this, but at least it doesn’t look “broken” at the moment. And I looked at the demo site for Newp, and they have more posts without issue, so I don’t know how I broke anything (widgets?)

    Still could use some tips, but thought I’d share in case anyone else is having the issue and this might be a quick fix for them.
