• My previous message was deleted in a WPML topic with the same issue. So here we go again.

The plugin doesn’t work with Polylang plugin either. I’ve read that it stopped working with WPML too a few updates ago.

I’ve made some tests with the main language and it worked fine. The problem came when I wanted to translate or create the same product in a different language.

It doesn’t work in the secondary language (in my case, it’s EN). Linked or unlinked to the main language version of the item, half or none of the items appear (Only showed an item list with 2 variations, the other 3 didn’t load). Or even when the translation is synced, nothing. 🙁

When you switch the language the discounts also disappear, and you cannot delete the composite items from the cart.

    Hi @ltnnog ,

For your information, when it comes to special product types in different languages, it requires some manual work to do.

    • Make sure the translated version of products in the target language connect to its original product on the single product page.
    • Edit the Composite translated main product page, re-add the translated version of subproducts to the translated version of the main composite again as if you are creating smart composite in the source language.
    • This is because WPML/ Polylang and our plugin can’t determine which translated products are part of which translated composite automatically, so users need to re-create the translated composite with translated subproducts again in each language.

As I wrote, I already tested that. In the backend panel, the products are correctly added in each language.

Even when I re-added the products by hand and even gave them different names to check if this was a name/sku conflict, they don’t appear, or half of them do.

And the worst part of all is that if you switch the language (or go to the cart in the secondary language), the discounts of the composite disappear from the cart.

    Hi @ltnnog ,

The fact that all the discounts disappear when added to the cart when you switch the language indicates that the connection between the original and translated items were not probably made.

We are not sure how it works with Polylang, but other WPML users confirmed that when they readded the translated subproducts to the translated main product, it worked again.

Unfortunately, we do not have any technical support agent available on this forum to help you further in this case, I can only give you some instructions from reported cases.

    Best regards.
