• Hello,

I have been having some issues with my Woodmart theme, I contacted the developer and the issue is actually with the WooPayments plugin.

When I disable the WooPayments plugin, everything works fine, as soon as I avtivate the plugin, my product page does not display properly and the product description does not display.

There seams to be an issue with the plugin that is making my product page not display all information.

    Hope you can help.

    Hi @neilvv1976!

Thanks for reaching out and for providing the details about the issue.

To assist you further, we’d first need to see exactly how the product page is appearing when WooPayments is activated.

Could you please create a staging site, then:

    • Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and WooPayments.
    • Keep WooPayments activated and check the affected product page.
    • Share the product page URL from the staging site with us.

    Also, please share the following:

    • System Status Report from WooCommerce → Status → System Status.
    • Any relevant error logs from WooCommerce → Status → Logs, particularly from the time the product page issue occurs.

Please paste the System Status Report and relevant error log into Pastebin and share the generated links with us. When creating the Pastebin entries, please enable the Burn after reading option.

Once we have these details, we can investigate the issue further.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the reply.

I contacted the developer of the Woodmart theme, he had a look at a lot of things for me. He deactivated all plugins.

I started to activate them 1 by 1 and test the site after each activation. The site was working perfectly. As soon as I activated the WooPayments plugin last, thats’s where the problem came back.

What i think is causing the problem is the Klarna and Clearpay information that appears under the price. If an item is out of stock, the site works as normal as the Klarna and Clearpay information does not appear as the item is out of stock.

When I check an in stock product, the Klarna and Clearpay information appears but my product description and additional information tabs do not appear, it is a very strange problem.

If you still need the information requested in your first reply, please let me know and I will get this arranged.

    Many thanks,
    Neil

    Hi there,

Thanks for the details, and I understand it’s frustrating to be sent back and forth between us and the theme’s developer.

Can you please try with a different theme, like Storefront? If the issue goes away on the default theme, it’s a compatibility problem on the theme’s side.

In that case the theme’s developer is the right team to resolve it, since they’d need to adjust how the theme works with WooCommerce/WooPayments. WooDMart’s own compatibility policy notes the theme is designed to work with anything that works on the default WordPress and Storefront themes, so a clean conflict test is exactly the evidence to share with them.

If the issue still happens with only WooCommerce and WooPayments on a default theme, then it’s on our side and we’ll happily dig in.

Could you please check and let me know what you find?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the reply.

I have just managed to find what the problem is. Clearpay and Klarna are working fine, what the theme doesn’t like is showing Apple Pay and Google Pay on the product pages.

As soon as I switched them off on the product pages but show in cart etc, all is now working.

It’s not a big deal that they don’t display on the product page as the customer can still use it when checking out.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi @neilvv1976!

    Thanks for the update!

I’m glad you were able to identify the cause and that Clearpay and Klarna are working correctly now.

We’re also unable to reproduce this issue on our end, which suggests that the problem may be related to a compatibility issue with the theme you’re using.

If you would like to have Apple Pay and Google Pay enabled on the product pages as well, I’d recommend contacting the theme support team again and asking them to check the theme’s compatibility with these express checkout options.

It’s good to know that the payment methods are still available in the cart and checkout, so customers can continue to use them there.

Thanks again for sharing your findings!
