Issue with Multisite “Lost your password?” functionality

We have a WordPress Multisite setup that is not working correctly, and we believe an update is needed to the plugin codebase.

We have WPS Hide Login active on our WordPress Multisite parent, setting this to be “login”, so the login URL is https://example-parent.com/login/ and this works as intended.

We do not have WPS Hide Login active on our WordPress Multisite child, meaning the login URL is https://example-child.com/wp-login.php and this works as intended.

When we are on the child login URL (https://example-child.com/wp-login.php) and click on “Lost your password?”, we are redirected to a 404 page at https://example-parent.com/wp-login.php

Please can you test and confirm this is happening for you.

We recognise that this may break some security of the hidden login URL, so we would question if an alert could be shown stating “Please reset your password on the Multisite parent” or similar.
