    Hi

I recently installed nextend and my site is running litespeed cache and experience something weird.

after doing social login, it redirect to hompeage without login status
and click again to login > login page > click social login (google) > then it auto runs and bring me to the homepage with logged-in status.

i saw an issue reported back then.. not sure if this is related..

do you support that? or out of scope?

    Thank you

    Hi @futureyoon

This problem sounds like a caching problem, more specifically I think you have the cache-control header set on the page, so you site will continue returning an earlier cached HTML of a result where the user was not logged in yet.

    In most cases:

    • if you hard refresh the page after the login by pressing Ctrl+F5 on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac, you will see the logged in results.
    • or if you open the Network tab of the browser and you Disable the cache – like you see here: https://www.technipages.com/google-chrome-how-to-completely-disable-cache – and you check the login with social login after that, you will also see the logged in results fine.

Could you check these please? If that indeed fixes the problem, then you should get in touch with LiteSpeed Cache, maybe they have an option to avoid these caching problem for logged in users.

If you didn’t manage to check it, then please send us a link of the page where we can check this problem. Or if you don’t want to share the URL of your site on this forum, then please get in touch with us over the ticket system:
    https://nextendweb.com/contact-us/nextend-social-login-support/?ref=https://wordpress.org/support/topic/issue-with-litespeed-cache-cant-login/
and we will check this problem for you.

    Best regards,
    Laszlo.
