Issue with indexing of posts

    Hey there,

    We’re having an issue with how Relevanssi is searching within our site. When we search “David Drew” the first result references a David with a different last name and the post does not contain the word “Drew” at all. The second result is what we would expect to appear first as it contains the exact query that was searched. Any ideas why this would be?

    We are using Search and Filter Plugin along with Elementor and Dynamic.ooo which should all seemingly integrate together well.

    You are using OR search, which does not require all search terms to appear. The first post has “David” nine times; the second post has “David” twice and “Drew” twice. This makes Relevanssi prefer the first post.

    You can switch Relevanssi to use the AND search, in which case the first post wouldn’t appear in the results at all.
