• I placed the shortcode [restricted][/restricted] around content on pages that I want to be restricted to only those who are logged in. However, after logging in I am still getting the “Please log in to access this content” message. I am getting the same message when trying to see [edit-profile] and [account-details] even though I am logged in.

Also, is there a way to indicate to users that they are logged in? Something like “You are logged in as [username]”? I know this can be added to a page using [user-data], but is there a way to add it to the page header?

    Hi morgane,

You might be getting that message because you need to check the ‘Options’ page, and make sure that ‘Login Time’ isn’t blank. If it’s blank, then you’re only logged in for a second. Anything non-blank and higher than 0 should solve the problem.

For your second question, you could add the [user-data] tag to your header file. You might want to wrap that in restricted tags as well, so that only logged in users can see it.

Thanks for your response. The login time is set to 1440, but I am still not able to see restricted content when logged in. Any other ideas?

    Hi Morgane,

Can you take a look at to see if the login cookie is being created?
