• Hello,

I just updated the plugin on my localhost WordPress from 1.5, and I ran into two issues:

    1. I tried to create a simple slideshow on a page. Everything worked normally. I tested removing a few slides from the show. Once again, it worked fine. However, when I try to remove every slide and update the page, it reverts the slideshow to have all the valid pictures from the media library. I should note that it only happened on the first page I showed a slideshow; the second page worked fine.
After mucking around, it looks like that when the option _portfolio_slideshow in the database for that post/page is an empty array and not the first edit, grab all pictures from Media Library. If not, do what’s expected.

    2. I mentioned valid pictures before. I have trouble adding small pictures (less than 100px). I’m not sure if this is a restriction you want to have, but it caused me a little confusion while testing.

Neither of these gave me any error messages.

Sorry for the info spam and that I can’t give you a website to look at. 🙂

    Hey @theinich,

I’m really sorry about the delayed response to this thread!

I’ve just released version 1.11.1 about an hour ago – it’s the most stable version yet, and it’s been tested thoroughly. It works well for me and many other users, and resolves a number of issues that have come up on these support forums in recent weeks and months, and might help with some of your issues here.

Try it out if you’re still using (or are still interesting in using) Portfolio Slideshow – and let me know know if it helps!

When it comes to the issues with small pictures, specifically, there aren’t any “hard” limits on image size from within Portfolio Slideshow’s code, but if the image is under 100px wide then it could indeed lead to some layout-related weirdness…

I’d recommend updating first, and seeing if anything improves. If not, let me know how things look and behave and we can go from there.

    Cheers!
    George
