Hi, I hope you are well.
I had a previous good experience with the support of this plugin and I’m trying to report a new issue.

My native language and website is the Italian and this plugin is not yet translated in Italian. I can help to translate some strings and I already added few strings here. This adds never fix on my website because I need to wait the strings are added on next update… so I want use a plugin to translate what is not translated.

I tried to do that with two different plugins, the first Loco Translate and as I see was not working I tried to use TranslatePress but seems also is not working with your plugin.

In particular when user submit a draft the copy link button is not tranlsated and also when ask to receive the link, the confirmation message is not translated.

I looked in the plugin language folder but just one original po file is present, and also I’m looking to find a way that never let me loose my custom translation once the plugin is updated.

Do you have any suggestion to translate the untranslated strings in my website until I wait the adds that I made in WordPress translation?

    Thank you

    Hi @peopleinside

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

Some of the strings are “different” and those that you mentioned – like the draft link and message – are one of them.

They are translatable but the message itself is also editable in the plugin and saved along with form configuration.

    What I mean is:
    – if you created the form and enabled draft option while there was no translation already installed for a given language (or the translation is incomplete and doesn’t include those strings)
    – then the default messages (which are in English) would be saved with the particular form configuration
    – if you add translation later (via the file or Loco Translate) – they will not be translated for already existing forms (but should be for the forms created after translation is made).

You can, however, edit these messages directly in the plugin at any time simply by going to form’s “Behavior” settings section and manually editing “Save form link text” option and “Resume message” option.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    @wpmudev-support8 thanks for the reply.

You can, however, edit these messages directly in the plugin at any time simply by going to form’s “Behavior” settings section and manually editing “Save form link text” option and “Resume message” option.

In Behavior settings all is translated already and the email that user get are correctly in Italian. What is still be in English is the confirmation message showed to the visitor in the browser after he put his email and press send to email link for receive the email with the Draft.

What is displayed in the webpage, the confirmation message “We’ve sent the resume form link to your email address. Please check your spam folder if you can’t find the link in your inbox.” still be not translated.

Also if I use a translation extension. How can I fix this?
Also the Copy link button is not correctly translated and I’m unable to translate using an extension and, there is no option to translate this in the plugin as also the confirmation message above about the link for draft sent to the email address.

    Hi @peopleinside,

The mentioned notification and the “Copy Link” button could be translated using any Translation plugin. I checked this using Loco Translate and was able to translate the text without any issues. Please check the following screenshots.

Can you please re-check this on your end and let us know if you still notice any issues?

    Kind Regards,
