@ghina1, Cache are physical files that resides inside your WordPress installation. You might want to skip your cache folder from backup to avoid this situation.

@sottovoce is that increase okay ? no problem with my site ?
and how can I exclude the cache folder?
is that increase okay ?
It’s normal. Go to your backup software/plugin and exclude cache folder. Go to Swift Performance Lite and take note of ->Settings ->Caching ->General -> Cache Path.
Cache usually resides on /wp-content/cache/

@sottovoce there is something I can’t under stand actually ..
in the dashbored of the plugin ( in CACHE STATUS) there’s a section for (Known Pages) right?
the value of “Known Pages” is 930 page while the site only contains 150 page … I want to know what is going exactly … is there a live support tool for you to check it plz.
regarding the backup – I backup my files manually by run this command in the server command line shell: zip -r backup.zip htdocs
and the result of run this command was a .zip file with size 746,119,166 before using swift …
now when run this command after install swift performance light is 1,489,185,106
plz I need to understand what is happened.

Regarding the number of pages and unwanted URLs in warmup table, you might follow this guide.
About the difference in (backup file) size. @sottovoce explained the diference very well. When Swift cache (and optimize) your site, those files and assets are stored in wp-contect/cache/swift-preformance folder.

@fredawd but is that the expected size difference??
I mean the (.zip) file for website files was 746,119,166 before using swift and now it reach 1,489,185,106
is that okay?? I am really afraid of that increase in number.
plz advise
regardig the guide link, it’s not open and give error:
This site can’t be reached exclude%20urls%20in%20warmup%20table’s server IP address could not be found.
Search Google for exclude urls warm up table

Hi,
Sorry about that, the correct URL to the guide; https://swteplugins.com/docs/warmup-table/
And yes, it is quit normal behavior that a backup .zip file is doubled when a cache and/or optimization plugin is enabled.
