Isotope filter through main menu

This plugin is awesome and has been working great. I was wondering if there is a way to have menu links act as filters on an isotope grid, working the way the built in filters work presently? So in the example link if you were to click on education you would be taken to the grid shown with only the education posts showing, but the ability to hit show all or the other categories once on the page? Trying to avoid using the built in archive page and just use this awesome grid system instead. Let me know if possible when you ave a chance please and thanks for making this awesome plugin available and all of your hard work on it.
