• Hopefully that is the right forum

I am a wordpress user for about ten years now, but user, not developer. My skills allow customizing via css, but not much more.

We all now, WordPress is a great software and it becomes even more powerfull when using Custom Post Types, Custom Taxonomies and Custom fields.

Now, for the last years, I wonder why there is not a single plugin out there, that allows to edit loops (blog, archive, search) or single (single, page, custom post type) by just drag and drop various elements like meta data (categories, tags, fields, taxonomies, post image, description, etc.) around along with some design elements as included in most of the big page builder softwares packages.

I mean… I know WP Ultimate Grid Pro. Its great. And it can be used for many templates. But you can not design a single page.

I now Visual Composer. Also great. But no meta data features. So you can easily design posts, or setup loops with plugins. But not with the ability of really free desciding about what to place where.

There is that Themify Post Type Builder that allows to create archive and single. But accordinging to powerfull content management solutions like ACF, it can not be used together.

    To make this idea clear:

If I could just add a page vor all my archives (or for every category or taxonomie) and fill it´s content with a template engine shortcode, i can set all default elements to be not shown (via css).
    Same for blog, single, etc.

Remember… I write this from the users point of view without any coding skills.

I don´t want to say that I have already tested everything, so maybe someone knows a plugin that can achive this, that i actually don´t know.

    Regards
    Holger
