    would love to be able to start a post, and then have the rest of the post in a link that says [MORE}

    is there such a one?

    I think you’re looking for the built-in feature of using <!--more-->

    Yup, it is a button in the editor’s toolbar. 🙂

    ‘more’ functionality has been in the system since it started. all it is is an HTML comment <!--more--> placed where you want the break to be…

    I’ve not messed with the post by email features at all. Including
    <!-- more -->
    doesn’t do the trick?

    ummm .. when I get round the porblem that I can’t yet post to my blog by email. I’ll get back to you. . . ..AHhhh come to think of it, in the end I changed the template to automaticaly split the posts so, wne I get post by emil to work should be no prob.
