• I am looking to build a finance blog and I know that I can set up a static homepage and a different page for all my posts.
Now, my question is like is it necessary to have a dedicated posts page when I have all the dynamic category pages in the header menu?
Whenever I post something and assign a category to it or a tag to it then it automatically goes to that specific category page, now after this, is it at all necessary to have a single page for all my blog posts when optimising my website for SEO purposes?
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • It’s optional. If you don’t want it, don’t have it. (as a guide, none of the sites that I’ve worked on for the last 5-6 years haven’t had a “posts” page, so I know it hasn’t affected them)
