We did a pretty major overhaul of the code recently and did remove the hashtag to post tag feature. I can consider adding this back in. The primary reasons for this move were …
- the app now dynamically pulls tags from your WordPress site
- the app now allows adding tags to your WordPress site
- simplification of the plugin
The in-app tagging features can be found on the Publish Settings screen by tapping the WordPress site and selecting Tags.
With that said, I do still see the benefit of this option and would consider adding it back in. Let me know your thoughts once you’ve tried out these in-app options. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, now that you’ve pointed out how to find the Tag / Category features, I can use those. Sadly, this means having to do a number of extra steps with each posted photo. The hashtag auto-tagging feature was awesome, so I’d be excited to see that come back.
Setting a default Category, on the other hand, was essential to my workflow (and that of my computer-challenged clients). Any chance that feature will be coming back? (I guess that’s another thread, which I posted earlier today).
