I would like to use this plugin in a WordPress WooCommerce story to create product sliders based on category. Can you confirm that this feature is now available in the Pro version of Product Carousel Slider & Grid Ultimate for WooCommerce? One of the pages on the plugin website indicates that this feature is still in development. I emailed the plugin author but there was no response.

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in our plugin.

Currently, creating product sliders based on WooCommerce product categories is not a built-in feature of the Pro version. While this is something we may consider adding in a future update, it is not currently in our development pipeline, so we can’t provide a timeline at this time.

If you need this functionality right away, we’d be happy to develop it as a custom feature for your website. Just let us know your specific requirements, and we’ll review them and discuss the available options.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Okay. I did not realize that WooCommerce categories are not the same as WordPress categories. You might want to clarify that in your advertising, since this product is supposedly designed to be compatible with WooCommerce. This is a direct quote from your WordPress plugin page:

The most salutary feature of the plugin is the ability to create unlimited personalized sliders, carousels, and grids for chosen products as well as for specific categories(Pro).

    Hi,

Thank you for pointing this out, and we sincerely apologize for the confusion caused by our plugin description.

We appreciate your feedback and understand how the wording could be interpreted as referring to WooCommerce product categories. We’ll review the description and update it where necessary to make it clearer and avoid similar misunderstandings in the future.

Regarding the Pro version, we’re unable to discuss Pro-specific features or support in this WordPress.org support forum, as we follow the WordPress.org support guidelines. We appreciate your understanding.

As for the requested functionality, we don’t have anything to announce at the moment. However, we’ve noted your suggestion and will certainly consider it for a future update if it aligns with our development roadmap.

Thank you again for your valuable feedback and for helping us improve our plugin.

    Good reply.

For pro or customer support, please contact the developer on their site. This includes pre-sales information.

As the developer is aware, customers may not be supported on this site.
