    You should only need it once. My initial thought is something goofed and inserted it again (perhaps after disabling and reenabling, etc).

    I haven’t deleted the extra 3 yet but I just realised there’s a difference.

    Two of them are like: RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !on

    The other two are like this: RewriteCond %{HTTPS} on

    Note the exclamation mark.

    After getting rid of the plugin (which caused white screen of death) I wanted to erase the super cache lines in the .htaccess file but it showed internal error. How to erase them/what to erase so the site would not break down?

    Go to your cPanel –> File Manager –>public_html and then find your .htaccess file.

    You can edit the code using Code Editor

    Replace whats in there with the following:

    Strangely enough, the code you gave me is exactly the same as the one I got after I had deleted the super cache lines myself. But this time I deleted everything and just pasted yours. I must have omitted something.
