    Good Day,

Does your plugin setting “Minify JS and CSS Files to Optimize Page Loading Speed” also minify the Custom CSS we entered in your plugin setting “Styles and Colors“?

    Details: https://prnt.sc/hTO4dwoAMQ_p

It appears not. I see our Custom CSS is not contained in the file:

    /wp-content/plugins/wpdiscuz/themes/default/wpdiscuz-frontend-css.min.css?ver=7.4.2

Our Custom CSS is extensive, so compressing or minifying it would help.

Can you look into this and advise?

    Thank you!

    Useful Tip:

When you look into this, please consider updating your plugin to ensure it compresses and minifies all CSS code (baseline and custom) used for your plugin.

For our website, we use the following tool: CSS Compressor

The CSS Compressor settings we use are:

    Compression Level: Highest
Advanced Options (Optimise shorthands): Yes, all.
    Discard invalid CSS properties: Unchecked
Add timestamp to final CSS: Unchecked
    Compress colors: Checked
    Compress font-weight: Checked
    Remove unnecessary backslashes: Checked
    Remove last semi-colons: Checked

The above usually compresses and minifies our CSS Code approximately 25-35% (huge). No issues.

    Hope this helps a bit.

    Thank you.

We’re really sorry, but this is not planned yet.

    Hi @gvectorssupport,

Easier said than done I suppose. It would be great if you could incorporate the above into your plugin in the near future.

    Thank you!
