iPhone/iPad trouble (CSS question?)

So…. odd problem. Possibly CSS. On iPhones and iPads, my site loads in such a way that it can not be resized by pinching the screen. it starts to load at proper screen size, then “pops” to much more zoomed in. Some weeks ago, it loaded normally in iPhone, now something’s changed.

God only knows where in the code this problem originates (site is way too complicated to diagnose by turning on/off plugins) …. curious though, if any experts out there see something obvious in the source code that would do this.
