• Hello!
I just installed WordPress on my old Laptop which I use for testing some server stuff. My Laptop is connected to my homenetwork and has the IP 192.168.8.103 . Before installing the APACHE2 testpage was available on localhost, 192.168.8.103 (from other devices in my homenetwork) and my global IP from devices outside my homenetwork. After installing WordPress I also was able to access my site from the devices mentioned above but after installing the Astra Theme and some php-modules like curl, gd, imagick etc I get redirected to “localhost” when using 192.168.8.103 and my global IP address. Also after activating the standard-theme of wordpress and deactivating all plugins of WordPress didn’t make a change.

    What’s wrong?
    Thanks!

check your settings in Dashboard: Settings>General

Your siteurl and wordpress url are likely “localhost”
    You should use something else.

@fierevere thanks for your reply! I already tried to change that to my global ip address, but then I got redirected to my standardgateway 192.168.8.1 and also configuring the website via localhost on the laptop and via 192.168.8.103 from another device in the homenetwork wouldn’t work, because it’s then redirecting me to the global ip. But opening the global ip in the local network won’t work out.
