    MaxMind claims a 99.8% accuracy for the free database. But as the GeoLite database only gets updated once a month it may lag a bit behind with recent changes.

    Keep your database up-to-date at least once a month or of course buy a subscription from MaxMind for the commercial database instead of the free database if you need a better accuracy.
