This is strange… Do you have any caching plugins enabled? Is the second submit actually updating the first rating, or creating a new rating in the rating results shown in the WP-admin? Could be some sort of a plugin conflict but not really sure…

I am currently testing the plugin before moving to the production server. Not sure if any caching programs are active, though I doubt it.
Each creates a new item, here’s a sequence I ran on a single post today
- Provide rating – result 1.875/5
- modify stars – submit result 2.9166666/5
- Modify stars – Message unable to submit again
- Wait 20 seconds press submit – result 5/5
The above showed as three new entries in the results page.

It’s possible your IP address changed but I’m not confident this is what’s happened… Coming soon you’ll be able to choose a combination of IP address and/or using a cookie restriction method.

Shouldn’t there be a restriction on the author of a post to prevent them from rating their own posts?
