My company would like to bill customers for services, not products. We have no specific items to sell, just custom invoices. Because I don’t have ‘products’ on my page to bill for, my invoices aren’t being generated using the PDF invoices plug-in. I have nothing to add to the invoice because it asks me to ‘Add product(s)’ to calculate the total.
Also, when I create a fake product to test a payment system, none of the invoices sent to customers go through. Nothing in their inbox, nothing in spam. This, despite a status update on my end saying the invoice was sent.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi @rektek,

Which plugin are you using for invoice?

You could also add a virtual product and use the Check Payments option at WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout > Check payments.

You could title it anything you want and personalize the description, so it’s not technically a “Check payment” but rather a way a visitor could place an order but not submit a payment.

Then, when you are ready, you can send them an invoice and have them pay on your site.

This is the option you would use.
