• hi all,

how can i make a post “invisible”?

the way i want to do it is this: i want it to be hidden from view as if it was never posted but then it’s accessible only by manually typing in the post’s permalink.

for example. “post title” does not show up on the home page or any category or archive pages but if someone typed in blah(dot)com/blog/year/mo/day/post-title/ (aka the url for the actual post), the post gets displayed.

is this possible? (btw i want to be able to do this for a number of posts, not just one)

    thank you!!

Easiest way: Create a category called “hidden” or something. Put all the posts you want to hide in that category. Then use the Category Visibility plugin to hide that category from the main page, archive page, etc..
