Invalid XML: Error

Hello, Hope all is well.

Hoping someone can help me.

iTunes is not updating the podcast feed anymore, and when I check iTunes Connect I have an error message that states:

“Can’t parse your feed. Invalid XML: Error on line 121: The element type “meta” must be terminated by the matching end-tag “</meta>”.”

I have no idea what that means, I assume it means I have an open “meta” tag somewhere that needs to be closed.

I have checked online forums to find a solution to this problem to no avail, and have exhausted all troubleshooting options, including:

– deactivating and reactivating Seriously Simple Podcasting
– uninstalling and re-installing Seriously Simple Podcasting
– reinstalling a previous version of Seriously Simple Podcasting
– reverting to a previous version of WordPress

In regards to replicating this issue, and exact circumstances the only thing I did differently before this all happened was update WordPress to the most current version, and update all my plugins, however, Seriously Simple Podcasting was up-to-date already.

The RSS Feed on the website is getting all the episodes, and the website also shows all the podcast episodes. To this date, there should be a total of 35 episodes.
