    Hi there,

When trying to integrate an Instagram Feed of my account into my website (Himalayas Theme) as Widget, I suddenly get an ‘Invalid Shortcode’ error message.

I am currently trying out the free version and some weeks ago it worked. Today I update the plugin, could that be the problem? The feed I created IS PUBLSIHED.

    Cheers

    hi @jms28,

this error appears if there is no feed ID set in widget. This may happen if you deleted feed or duplicated it and ID changed. Or widget data was lost after theme switching.

Please choose feed again in widget options.

    Hi Tigran,

    Thanks for your answer.

Well, there is not much ‘Feed ID’ I can select in the widget menu: there is a drop down menu called ‘Feed’, which only contains one point called ‘Impressions’, which is the name of the feed I created in the ‘Instagram Feed WD’ menu.

I already erased the feed and created new from scratch a couple of times. Still getting the error!

Already tried around with the plugin some weeks ago and everything worked fine. Yesterday I updated though…

    Thanks!

erasing the feed and creating new one (even with the same name) changed its ID. In widget options user actually selects feed by ID, although he sees its title. Please select again the feed in widget options and save.

Sorry but I don’t understand. I created a new feed a couple of times and under various names and selected those names in the widget and saved it. Still getting the error message, no matter what I do.
