    I am getting this error under my advanced ads earning category – “invalid response received while renewing access token for …”

    I have renewed the access token, I have made sure the ad blockers are not on for these pages, and I have confirmed that Google Ads Payments are all working properly. I’ve used Google Ads for 10 years, so I am not a new user.

    How do I get this error to go away? Please explain in non-programmer terms as I am not a programmer and don’t know how to make complicated changes. Thank you.

    I fear without getting a bit techie here we won’t be able to gather more information about this issue.

    An issue like the one you describe was recently fixed, so thanks for confirming you already re-established the AdSense connection at Advanced Ads > Settings > AdSense.

    Please navigate to your Advanced Ads Dashboard an open your bowsers’ development console. This is usually done by clicking right and choosing “inspect” or hitting F12 on your keyboard.

    After the console opens, please navigate to the “console” tab. You’ll see something like this: https://d.pr/i/mbouVY

    On the screenshot, you see the working earnings bar and no errors in the console. I expect a different output on your end. Please be so kind and send me a screenshot of what you are seeing.

    Hi Henning,

    Thanks for helping me. The screen shot I took shows the console. I took a second screen shot that shows “the issues”.

    Can you please try to update the ad unit list while editing an AdSense ad?

    The list uses the same technique to refresh as the revenue display. If this also not works as expected, please navigate again to Advanced Ads > Settings > AdSense, revoke your AdSense connection and re-connect it again. While doing this, you can again have a look in your browsers debug console, looking the “console” tab for red error messages.

    If AdSense is properly connected and booth lists (ad import and revenue) are not working, we would need to take further steps to discover what is blocking this connection in the first place.
