When members attempt to reset a forgotten password, they click on the link emailed to them. They reset their password and click enter. They immediately get a message stating the password was reset successfully BUT in bright red letters below that they see this message:

Error! The password reset key is invalid. Please generate a new request.

Why is this happening? I don’t have a security plugin running, stripped the htaccess file down to the basic WP information, disabled the cashing plugin (as much as I can… it is installed by the host), and added a variety of URLs for the cache plugin to NOT cache.

Still getting the error. Because the reset actually works, I’m about to just go in and hide the error message via CSS.

Hi, this could be related to a cache issue. Do you run a cache plugin in your site? Does your server run any caching system?

    Kind regards.
