• Having read this advice:
    https://contactform7.com/faq/does-contact-form-7-support-html5-input-types/

    I tried adding this code to my website theme’s php file:
    add_filter( ‘wpcf7_support_html5_fallback’, ‘__return_true’ );

    Appearance > Theme Editor > Functions.php > and pasting the code under ‘Your code goes below’

    However I could not get ‘Update File’ to save this change
    ‘Something went wrong. Your change may not have been saved. Please try again. There is also a chance that you may need to manually fix and upload the file over http://FTP.’

    I’ve just added a note to try a different browser if ‘invalid date’ is returned. A shame as most of our guests use iPads and iPhones so I would have like to have resolved the issue properly.
