• Hi,

After updating auth0 plugin from 3.2.7 to 3.2.15/3.2.16 via internal plugin updater I encounter that error:
    02/06/2017 14:16:04 init_auth0_oauth/token invalid_grant Invalid authorization code

I rolled back version of the plugin to fix it.
How can I update plugin correctly?
    Thx

  • I’m getting the same problem here! After update, I’m getting: domain.com/?message=Invalidauthorizationcode

Just ran into this with 3.2.16 and I changed one setting that seems to have fixed it.

In your WP site, go to Auth0 > Settings > Basic and just below the Client Secret key field, there’s a “Client Secret Base64 Encoded” option. I turned that off and it worked. This option doesn’t exist (at least I don’t see it in the same place) in older versions of the Auth0 plugin.

When I checked in my Auth0 account, some of my clients said they were encoded, some said they weren’t. I don’t see where I can make that change. But the site having the problem was a site/client I just set up and had the new version of the plugin.

Unfortunately, this solution (uncheck “Client Secret Base64 Encoded” option) does not work in my case.

Sorry to hear that. Good luck.
