Intranet – Share links

    I just got my first wordpress blog up and running. I’m using it as a corporate intranet site. I want to be able to create menu items with links to shares on our file servers. for example i want a menu item call HR forms that links the user to \\servername\HRForms

    When i create a custom link it only allows me to create http:// path, not a UNC path. I tried enter file://servername/hrforms but it wouldnt accept it.

    How can i create custom links with UNC paths?
