• My website at http://www.savware.net returned this error box : “Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet Site http://www.savware.net”

    ???? The error only comes up on the first page, if I go to one of my posts, the error box does not pop up.

    In firefox, the bug I a getting from the site is : [Exception… “Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIFileOutputStream.init]” nsresult: “0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)” location: “JS frame :: file:///Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/components/nsSessionStore.js :: sss_writeFile :: line 2055” data: no]
    file:///Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/components/nsSessionStore.js
    Line 2055″

    No better then the Internet Explorer error I guess cause I cannot make heads or tails from it.

    In Firefox the site loads up fine (except it reports the error above). In Internet Explorer the dumb box pops up with that message, then re-directs a standard error page.

    Can some help please?

    I am currently using 5 Plugins -> All In One SEO, FireStats, Link-A-Dink, Post Template and Slimbox Plugin

    Can someone please just go to my site with IE and check out the error?

    I can’t be the first person to get this error with WordPress?

    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Go to Internet Options ==>Privacy
    3. Click on Sites tab, and enter your website address:
    http://www.savware.net. And click Allow button.
    4. Finally click Ok twice and rerfresh your page.

    Hey Rok, Thanks alot for the reply, was thinking I was the only one that this ever happened too.

    Since no one was replying, I did some of my own investigating.

    At first I thought it the Theme, so I switched Themes, same popup error.

    Then I thought it might be a plugin, so I turned them off 1 by 1 and rechecked the site. All of them were OK except when I turned off the Slimbox Plugin v1.0, the error box did not pop up. I have left it off and am continuing my test, but I am going to try what Rok suggested and turn that plugin back on, to see what happens.
