Internal server error when writing a new post

    I just installed WordPress and totally love it! But now, don’t know why, an internal server error comes up every time I try to write a new post. Everything went well — until now. I’ve tried to log out and back in but the same thing comes up every time. I haven’t done anything strange or different. Haven’t even changed almost any settings.

    This same error message comes up if I press “Save and Continue editing”, “Save” or “Publish”-buttons..

    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@trixia.net and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Did you check your error_log?

    Well.. Pretty embarased to say but I don’t know where I can find it.. *blush*

    If you have CPanel or similar management software from your webhost, look at the menu options for “error_log”.

    If you don’t have these (shame on your host 🙂 ) then login through FTP and look for a “error_log” or something to that effect. It should be in the same directory as your WP “index.php” file.

    If you have a resceptive host, you could also ping them and ask them to help you out.

    Hmm.. Now I found a different kind of problem.. I wrote another message and saved it.. Everything went OK.. So, excited about it, I wrote the previous message back and..

    ..internal server error.. So I thinks it’s about what I write.. I write in Finnish so could it be about the words? Maybe the “strange” letters we have? It sounds like a pretty long shot but still a shot.. ;o)
