I added the code (<input type=”checkbox”>) in each cell of the table I made – New Life Bible Class – Walnut Hill Church of Christ. It works, but the problem is that it doesn’t save the input. How can I make the entries save the entries on the webpage, without having to actually edit the table?

Your table looks good and you got the right idea, but unfortunately there’s a lot more to making it a usable attendance sheet. Basically, the table has to be turned into a true HTML form, be given a submit button and target, and then that target has to digest and save that form data.
The first two are easily done, but the last point is really hard. There’s a lot to take into account regarding saving and presenting the data and, maybe most importantly, regarding security. Offering a freely accessible form is an invitation to feed malicious code into your system.
TablePress isn’t equipped to publish forms and offers no processes for digesting them. Of course, you can always track attendance in your WordPress dashboard by editing the table, but you already know that and are looking for a more comfortable solution.
However, there are many, many forms and events plugins out there and at least a few of them seem to be designed around attendance. I recommend you do a search here on WordPress.org and give one or two of them a try:
