Emails have to be text formatted (“text/plain”) to be wrapped by WP Better Emails template. Check Mandrill plugin to see if there’s an option to choose mail formats (e.g. plain text or HTML).
I don’t know if we can. I was trying get them working together today, but as long as wpMandrill is running, WP Better Emails doesn’t.
According to the wpMandrill plugin page, “It replaces the wp_mail function”. WP Better Emails uses that function, so, maybe no luck here.

Any chance for a fix for this?
I would like to use this plugin, but I did a test and soon as I disable wpMandrill the same testing email that had been going to my inbox all day went to spam 🙁
