Sorry, It’s a new site and I have it in maintenance mode, so you would not be able to see the problem. I’m new to wordpress.
I’m fairly certain it’s the theme. I did a “live” preview of a different theme and it works.
Suggestions?

I don’t mind buying a pro license; I just want to make sure that the product will work with the theme that I want to use. Here is the theme:

Hi James,
Most likely, you’ll need to use chrome developer tools (or any in browser debugger) and methodically remove the classes from the divs that wrap the menu. Once you have worked out which class is causing the conflict you can narrow down which CSS rule or rules are causing the problem, then override those rules using custom CSS to fix the problem (or remove the classes from the template files).
I would install the theme here and give you specific instructions, but I’m on holiday at the moment and the hotel wifi connection is terrible.
Regards,
Tom
