    Hi,

Please upgrade to the latest version 2.8.19 and add gtranslate-parent class to the menu item under which you wish the dropdown language selector to appear. (for your case Global should have gtranslate-parent as CSS Classes)

Make sure that you use Flags with language name widget look and that Show in Menu is set to the Menu in which you wish it to appear.

    Thanks!

    Hi Edo,

Thanks for the quick response. We did exactly as you said, but the translation menu is not appearing below “GLOBAL.” It’s appearing on the top-right side of our page when we hover over GLOBAL. Click on link below for snapshot.

Again, we would like to have the languages appear below GLOBAL as shown in the pic of our previous post and NOT as a widget. Only a dropdown with a simple look (flag + language name). No need for the pretty box shadow. Could you generate a shortcode for each language/flag so we can do this? Another plugin author has achieved this but their coding is not friendly with all browsers.

Thanks again. Hope you can make it work. If it helps, we can chat online for a better explanation.

    Let’s try again . . . here’s what we get (pic).

And last, this doesn’t work on mobile devices. The word “English” is displayed below GLOBAL, with no other language options displayed.

Here’s how we set up “GLOBAL” (using your instructions):

You are not using “Flags with language name” widget look.

We just fired our Chief IT Engineer. Can’t believe he missed that!

Fixed. It works (click on link). You’re a genius. Now, is their any way we can make the flags/text larger? (via CSS or some other code)

    Thanks a million!
