Instantly Lockout Invalid Usernames

    Hi.
    When i use ” Instantly Lockout Invalid Usernames ” On user login settings and also enable this option ” Notify By Email ” i get many email every 2hours that TEST user try to login to your site and ip blocked! But this is a bug because this test user is test cookie on wordpress!! can You solve this problem?

    hi. thanks for answer.
    Because i install plugin in 4 wordpress site and in all of theme i have this issue. also heard about test cookie on wp-login.php

    Hi @nikanadv,

    I’ve never heard about WordPress “test cookie”. Are you sure this “test” user logins aren’t caused by another plugin (or service) you have active on your sites?

    yes i’m sure because there is no other plugin on site.
    Test cookie or everything else no matter, i want to know how can i solve this problem…

    I’m sorry, but I haven’t found any info about this “test cookie” (neither online nor in WordPress source code). I can only recommend to turn off the “Instantly Lockout Invalid Usernames” feature.

    @nikanadv, I can confirm with what @chesio is saying. I have also never heard of “test cookie” mentioned anywhere here in WordPress or online.
