    Hi Team,

I am using instamojo as the payment option on my website with events made easy plugin. I have created the event successfully but when someone clicks on the payment button it gives Invalid auth token error.

I am using the correct live instamojo API keys and credentials but still, it is not working.

I think the problem might be that the events made easy plugin is not letting me change the instamojo API status to live. Whenever I select the live option from there and save the settings it goes again to the sandbox mode, automatically.

And that’s why this error is coming.

Could you please help me with this at the earliest.

    Thanks
    Lavanya

Confirmed. Try this fix (a one-liner in eme_options.php):

Sorry, I don’t understand. Could you please explain it in a simple way?
Which line do I need to change in the file?

If you’re unfamiliar with this, you’ll need to wait for the next release.

    Hi Franky,

Thanks for the help, it worked! Just one more query i.e I have created an event and a discount coupon. Have assigned this discount code to the event too (under Edit Event > RSVP Tab). But, the problem is…when I view the event page I don’t see any option/field to put in the code for availing the discount. Am I missing something? Could you please help me with this?

This plugin is great, provides great features…but unfortunately, I am having problems in figuring out how it works. If you have a set of explainer videos, could you please direct me to them?

    Thanks

    Hi Franky,

Thanks for helping me out. Please help me with one more thing i.e I have created these custom fields in my event booking form (https://imgur.com/a/dkJJPxN), which works fine. But all of the information that end-user fills except name and email cant be find anywhere. I mean that under people tab of events made easy plugin I can only see these details – https://imgur.com/a/AsPLsLC and not the others such as company name, designation etc.

I wanted to ask..am I missing any step here? or all that information comes elsewhere?

Also, could you please tell how can I download all this people info in a csv format?

Looking to hear from you soon
    Thanks

If the custom fields are of type “People” or “generic”, then they can be found in the People overview. If the custom fields are of type RSVP, you’ll see them in the Booking overview. Like the hint says: “rightclick on the column headers to show/hide columns”
Also the CSV button is there …

    Thanks for a quick reply!

I am creating my fields here – https://imgur.com/a/euZ0TQc
And I can’t find them on people or bookings page.

Could you please tell me how do I do it? My motive is to collect all this information (https://imgur.com/a/dkJJPxN) from the user, be able to see it in one place and thus download it for further use.

Please help me how do I do it.

    Thanks

See, I don’t care if the field type is “People” or “generic” or “RSVP” but, I need all this information filled by my user and I want to see it in one place and be able to download it. Please direct me in the right direction, how can I do that. Also, I want the booking to be confirmed only when the user has made the complete payment, so how do I ensure that?

Looking to hear from you soon

Please do read the doc on the placeholders you can use in the RSVP form, see https://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/category/documentation/7-placeholders/7-6-registration-form-fields/ (search for #_FIELD).
Also the video I mentioned explains everything about custom fields too.

Concerning your second question: the RSVP settings per event allow you to “require booking approval” and optionally “Auto-approve booking upon payment”.

    Hi Franky,

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Just one question, I want to have an affiliate system on my website. Implying that I should be able to track how many bookings are coming from a particular person. So I wanted to know if this plugin has integration with any affiliate system plugin.

    Thanks

    (@liedekef)

EME has a number of hooks you can use to integrate with other things, like in your case eme_insert_rsvp_action
    See https://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/category/documentation/12-hooks-and-filters/
Using that filter you can hook the info on the booking/booker into another system of choice.

    (@lavanya3998)

    Thank you!

Could you please tell me how do I create Lastname and email RSVP fields and use it in booking form of the events?

Actually I need all this information in one place so that I can download them in one single CSV. For this, I have successfully created all the custom RSVP fields and are linked to the booking form correctly. But when I try linking Lastname or email custom RSVP field with the form it gives me an error while saving it.

Error is something like – please changes the format of this RSVP field in order to use it.

Could you please tell me what am I doing wrong here?

    Thanks

    (@liedekef)

The video explains that too. For the RSVP form, there are several fields that are readily available (like lastname, firstname). See https://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/category/documentation/7-placeholders/7-6-registration-form-fields/

    Thread Starter lavanya3998

    (@lavanya3998)

No No…I get that. But in order to get all the information in one place, I wanted to create a form with all the custom made RSVP fields. So that all the information is under Bookings page only. Else currently name and email info come under people page, while rest of the information comes under Bookings page.
