Installing WP through clara.net

Hi everyone, All the sites I’ve ever made on WP have been installed with WP through cpanels fantastico on our server, now a client wants to make his site on clara.net because he was advised to by clara, clara dose not support cpanel, it dose let you access the site through FTP and when i did I noticed it already had wp installed, i tried putting in the site with /wp-admin at the end and it didn’t work, I tried uploading a new version of WP and that did’nt change anything, the file permissions are different and it won’t let me change them, instead of being 775 or 777 they are -rwxrwxr-x and other, (I kept the same wp-config file and wp-content folder. )
