• Hi All,

I tried searching for a solution, but didn’t come up with anything that seemed specific to my problem. I registered a new domain. I have two others on the same hosting account. Both have wordpress.org linked to them. I have my new domain sitting as an “under construction” page and want to access wordpress with it. When I go to wordpress through my host (iPage), it brings up the login for a different domain of mine.

I tried downloading WP to my computer and following the installation guide for wp.org, but my MySQL database already has WP listed with my first website I created, so I worried that altering anything would interfere with that.

Do I just need to add WP to MYSQL again? I tried just using the new domain name with /wp-admin but that gives me a 403 error.

    Thanks!

  • I’m not sure if you want three separate WP installs with each domain pointing to a different install with it’s own database?

Regardless, this is an issue you should take up with iPage as different web hosting companies handle multiple domains in one account differently.

True, that seems like it would just get overly complicated. I’ll try that route, they’re usually helpful. I just didn’t know if there was something obvious I was missing. Thanks Matt.
