Installing Under Construction Plugin problem

    I realized that I had only logged into WordPress and not into my website. My mistake.

    After logging in to WordPress.org I searched plugins and selected the most-downloaded “Under Construction” plug-in. WordPress instructions say to select install. The only option is see is to “download”. Further WordPress instructions say that “if needed” upload manually to /wp-content/plugins. I cannot find /wp-content/plugins anywhere on my computer. I can’t even find WordPress in any of my program files leading me to believe that my WordPress is entirely web based. How do I install an Under Construction, or any other, plugin?
