installing themes in wordpress 1.2 | WordPress.org

Most of the literature on wordpress i found were for 1.5.. does know any guides for how to install themes in 1.2? I’ve searched the forums but didn’t really find anything useful.. any help is great, thanks!

In WordPress v1.2.x, you typically download the template and replace the default WordPress files with the template’s files. The exact installation instructions are usually included with the template. Themes are not supported by WP v1.2.x.

Why do you not want to upgrade to WP v1.5?

Here is Alex Kings list of WP 1.2 styles:

Generally all you have to de is replace your CSS style sheet and upload whatever images that are needed for your new style.

And you really should upgrade to WP 1.5.2 to solve some security issues and gain a lot of design flexability.
